I need the name of a tamil novel

Hi everyone,

I read this tamil novel couple of years ago but cannot remember the name. I want to read it again.
Novel summary: a tamil girl goes to america ( I think) for work and meets and falls in love with a white guy who I think is a doctor. They come back to India for her parents permission to marry. But they refuse. Both hero and heroine get married and return to america. The story ends with her getting pregnant and the hero convincing her parents to accept them.
