    Hi all,

    As a book lover, I wish to talk about the writers who were there before or around 1947, and their writings as this generation should know about them and should be proud of them also.

    Well.I am taking this opportunity to name a few of those golden day writers.

    Kalki,Devan, SVV, Namakkal Kavignar Ramalinga pillai.. ( He wrote few novels too.. phew.. for example Malaik kallan ), Anuthama, Ra. Su. Nallaperumal. ( His Kallukkul Eeram was such a great novel which won 1st prize in a competition in kalki ),

    The list seems endless.

    I, here call every one to take their own opportunity to say about those writers and introduce few good novels of them to our 21 st century's youths.

    Lets start our journey back to 1940s...:)

    Hi Bharathi,

    Thanks for visiting this thread and posting ur opinion. Yeah. We would talk about those novels and writers. I think I read Piranthanaal, but may be 15 or 16 years before. Now, I could recall title only. :(
