    kalki stands head and shoulders above every other writer of not just his times but of modern day writers too. Ponniyin Selvan, Paarthiban Kanavuand Sivagamiyin Sabatham are some of his timeless classics, esp. the first mentioned one.U can call him a consummate writer.

    What about Naa Parthasarathy? No idea which decade he belongs to, but a great writer, very motivational, passionate and ideological.I loved reading his "pirandamann' among other novels. It talks of the Tamilian hero's life in Sri Lanka (eelam) and love for him blossoming in the hearts of two sinhala sisters.
