It's that time of the year when cherubic cupids are out looking for victims of love and all greeting card makers, chocolatiers and hoteliers are reaping a profit, I say let's go on a date with our valentine ... our book ( obviously. .. what were you thinking ). Romance is this month's theme, nominate a mushy mushy read.

A walk to remember by Nicolas Sparks is my choice. Happy Valentines day bibiolites.

    Hi @JanakiPriya,

How this club works is members (this is open to all IL members ) first nominate books, then there is a poll. The book with the maximum votes is the book that the club reads and discuss.

A few recommendations for you ladies. If you want to read,

A wild love that endures -- Wuthering Heights (Emily Bronte)

A passionate love that ruins -- Anna Karenina (Leo Tolstoy)

Something like P&P, but not P&P -- North and South (Elizabeth Gaskell) or Sense and Sensibility (Jane Austen)

All books are in the public domain and freely available. Happy reading! :)

Coincidentally @Kishw and @Gauri03, revisiting a classic was the first thought that crossed my mind for this month's book club theme, but I got bitten by the valentine bug and switched to romance / contemporary romance.

I leave this choice to all bibiolites, if anyone else prefers a classic, we can do that or save it for the next club.
