    I have noticed that so many IL's are interested in reading books. Is anyone using kindle(India)? If yes, then please tell me which one among the three is good.

    M using Kindle App on my Smart Phone..

    if u r an avid reader , then only go for Kindle...

    Even basic one is good.. that u will get in ~5K..

    I would say that if you just want to read, buy the cheapest tablet you can find in the market, and install the Kindle app. You still have the same functionality as that of the Kindle and access to any of the books you may have purchased from their Kindle store. That's how I do it.

    Kindle is good. but it doesnt give the feel of reading paper book..I love reading only printed book. I too realized after buying Kindle..I feel connected to internet if i read in kindle n lost privacy ...even though reading there, will start browsing other forums..You need your chair, printed book to enjoy the reading. Thats wonderful experience ..

    all points are 100% valid. nothing like a printed book. and when we try to read electronic book, we cant resist browsing other sites, and thus lose continuity.

    @candyy, @hino thank you for the FB. Yes, I too love reading books in paper format. I was curious to know if kindle is as good as a original book in hand. That has led me to post this query.

    Kindle is really useful during travel ie..long journeys in metros...But, during weekeneds relaxing period, definitely Paper books cant replace any other electronic media...

    I have heard that kindle is freezing with in one week. Is it true? Which one is the best option if you want to buy?
