    Hi friends :hiya

How about we all try to get the long lost IL Book Club back to our forum? :partySince it is almost month end, I took the liberty to select a book for the next month. With the valentines day approaching and all, I have selected a romance novel 'It had to be you' by 'Susan Elizabeth Phillips'. :boo:

From the next month on wards, following will be the procedure to select a book.

    1) Every month 20th we set up a nominations thread and we can decide a flavour for the month

    2) Each IL member gets to nominate 1 book every month.

    3) Nominations close by 25th of every month.

    4) The first five nominations will be set up for poll.

    5) Voting is frozen by 30th of each month.

    6) The book which wins the highest number of votes becomes the book of the month

    7) All members(interested) then start reading the book from the 1st of the subsequent month

So with no further delay, lets start reading. If anyone wants to read the book, you can PM me. I can provide the link, or you can google the book name, and you can get the book.
    :)

Oh my God! One of my favorite book!

The story is so funny, witty, touching and beautifully romantic! All the qualities that one can easily catch in almost all Susan E. Phillips' novels.

I still have the novel with me. I'm definitely rereading it tonight!

lol I did go through that single author phase up to a couple of years ago. This would be the first book I read of SEP. Will add your recommendation too to my to-read list. Hope you too join us and reread the book with us, also expecting your review on the same. ;)

How I wish I too had the hard copy of the book. :( I hate reading e-books. Anyway, this is the first time I would be reading it, so if I like it, I'd buy it. ;) Thanks for taking part. I expect you too to post a review, but a lil later, so that no suspense is broken. :)

I am also going through the single author phase now..(though I seem to have gone back to one of my favorite childhood author:confused2:). Thanks Ishwarya for this interesting topic so that I can come out of my dazed self and start reading the book you mentioned. I haven't read any of this author's book yet and looking forward to do so.

Ish babes, have moved away from the romantic genre and am more into spiritual books and motivational books, these days. so no review from me..

but i liked ain't she sweet more for the way the protagonist fights against all odds.

    Hi Iswarya,
Would love to join in. Was a voracious reader earlier but now am finding it difficult to find time for reading. Also my attention span is shortening! This is a great way to start reading again. Thanks for reviving the book club.
