Hi,

The best person to advise you on this would be your doctor. If you are not happy with what he/she has suggested, take the opinions of a few other doctors and see what they suggest.

All the best,

Riya

Did you get an MRI? I recently tore my meniscus. I recovered about 60% after a few weeks, but it never really started feeling better. I went to the doctor, he recommended an MRI and then could easily tell it needed surgery.

Just make sure you have insurance; my routine surgery totaled well over $30k for the entire thing...

Try to refer to next doctor apart from ur first doctor whom you have got treatement.

Go to a good doctor and if you need you can meet Bone & Joint cline in Anna nagar where Dr.Bala is a good doctor to consult with.

Thanks.

have a speedy recovery

in our knee ligament holds the main part to stabilise..but depends which ligament is get torn...and again n again surgery is also not the gud idea as it is the site to develop osteophytes(extra bone growth) which would again block the movement..dont loose yr hopes just concentrate on the exercises but not to agressive..as the chances to get 100% recovery in ligament injury is so less.i am not discouraging you..depending upon your duration of injury you can opt for exercise.

try to consult a physio for routine knee exercise..gud luck.
