Hey AC,
Do you have aloevera in your garden just shave a small piece. put it on the painful area, and tie a cloth to keep it in place and leave it.. this was suggested by my doctor..natural way.
And you can just grind few henna leaves, 1 shallot and little jeera into paste and have it...it really relieves you of pain.
Well if you don't have both, just take some mustard/gingelly oil...heat it...and then just put a blop of pain gel (Deep heat, moov or simple winter green caution when putting winter green.. a very very few drops.) apply the oil and give a slow circular rub without giving too much pressure.
and give hot water fermentation..you will have relief...
Avoid food that could give you gas. just have little hing in buttermilk to relieve if u have..
most of the time, it is because of wrong posture while moving or picking things. and the pain aggravates because of certain foods.
Well too long post..will be happy if I could really help you.

Hi chitra,
I do usually get this kind of pain ,in my arms as well as in my back too. after quite a few exp i got to know.... that the root cause was coz of GAS. So what i do is take some 2 OZ of jeera Kashayam. And it does give me instant relief. so i think u can also try taking it .
Otherwise u can also try taking some Kala namak or black salt, along with roasted jeera which is quite effective for gas troubles.
Hope this info does help u.
cheers
vaidehi

Hi Anandchitra, I wanted to share my problem with u and it will be thankful if u cud help me out in this.. I am 23 yrs old.. Obese... I use to get pain in my left arm from neck to fingertip... last month i had severe pain i consulted dr, she said it could be muscle strain as i do workout.. then it was ok.. again last week same pain started.. and i had mild chest pain so i was worried,, i went and took EGC. my general physician told me to consult a cardiologist.. i consulted him, he said ECG is normal and my arm pain is not thru heart... and he has advised me not to carry weight atleast for 3 months.. the chest pain was due to gastric problem, he gave me medicine for that.. as far as the hand pain is concerned he said he dont want to give me any pain killer as it may create more gastric problem.. finally i advised me some pain killer and said if pain is not bearable then u can take one that too once in 24 hrs only (very strict).. I still dont understand what kind of pain i have got in my arm.. would u wish to advice me on this.. I expect comments frm other ladies tooo!

make a paste of dry ginger and apply the paste to the entire arm and try to detoxify your system with triphala a great relief, an enema will remove all the gas that forms in the stomach, try to avoid mixing dhall and tamarind along with rice..
u need to apply some oil any oil will do like till, mustard is best, and start giving hot and cold treatment, then the blood rushes to the centre and releives one of any pain..this hot and cold brings about a change of temperature in the place and blood will start flowing..sunkan

Hi all,
Surprised to find, there are quite few like myself who get joint pains due to ACIDITY or GAS. Even had these pains aggravated due to hormonal changes during pre & post pregnancy & was forced to rely on natural remedies.
My recommendations are -
Apply some oil or moov or any pain reliever oinments and give hot water treatment.
Drink gelusil & take few glasses of hot/warm water.
These wld give you some immediate relief against the pains.
Avoid food/vegetables that aggravates gas in the body & thereby pain. (Particularly all kizhangu vagaigal)
Reduce hot spicy food & include more intake of jeera, ginger & garlic in regular food.
Hope this helps.

Hi AC,
Try to take magnesium tabs.....here they say it is a deficiency with this, which could cause this kodasal......i get it often.
Also dont rule out any muscle inflammation, due to heavy work, gardening etc. I suffered from shoulder, neck pains....and it wa sthat. So went in for acupuncture, which relieved me quite a bit. Now i do get it with heavy dance movements, even vacuuming or gardening, shovelling. So i rest it ...and all these home remedies can help in that!
