Hello everyone, I am currently taking University classes in Podiatry. I am specializing but need some help because I am in need of some research. Please help by posting what kind of feet you have (small, regular, high arch) and any particular issues that you may have with the soles of your feet. Thank you so much everyone ! - Mira
Hello! Very interesting read. They do not teach this particular things in University but I found them very interesting. I personally believe they need a section for Indian women's feet. From my experiences of helping family and friends, Indian women have feet that are strong enough for much work, but are very dainty and delicate as well. This always fascinated me because I have never seen Indian woman with bad feet unless they over 50 years. How many years have you been foot reading?
Yes it is very difficult to get subjects I am facing similar issues. In response , I have started my research, so no conductive information has been set but for many years I've noticed these things. My aunt always told me feet were the gateway of the body. Foot reading involves reading the soles only I take it?
No I have not received much support yet on this thread. Would you be able to help my studies by posting or messaging me a few pictures of the soles and top of your feet?
mirapooja: you might find this and also that part 2 that is available interesting: Diabetic Foot Conference - IPA Chairman - YouTube Although I am not diabetic, I have seen Dr. Suri a number of times for straight podiatry and he is very knowledge about feet in India.
It is for my BSC in Podiatry I have chosen to use Indian women specifically because we were restricted to choosing one type of person. They will help in seeing the positives and negatives of various woman`s feet and attempting to relate them possible issues they may have. (bunions, wear and tear, plantars fascittis) If you have pictures I can use , that would be helpful. If you don`t that is not a problem, I have been getting more help else wear around campus, but more testing is better than less
Hi Mira, Glad to see your virtual service/help... My DH having flat foot so he has ordered for some sole to attach in his regular shoes...will it work for recovery or just it is a temporary solution? Also my DD is 5 years old now and whether we can find out whether she too has same flat foot issues now? if yes, is this the correct age to find out?
Hi Mira I have small feet (size 5) and have bunions on my left sole ,tried getting it treated by using liquid nitrogen and trimming and applying corn remover but no avail, it just keeps growing,so I keep it flat by trimming regularly Any suggestions Nissha
