Dear sudha,

Even i used to have this problem.Believe me my siblings used to make fun of me and they would not come near me.
This is how i manage and i dont smell or stink now:
Take a warm water bath daily twice.
Do not use any perfume or deodorant.
Do not wear clothes that stick near ur arms.
If u want u can add 1 or 2 drops of lavender essence to the bath water.
Pls do not ever apply talcum powder to the armpit.
Drink plenty of water.

Try these things and see the difference.I smell fresh all day long now.Try to stay naturally fresh as far as possible.
Suji

Smile Re: sweat

hi,
The armpits is the main area of concern when it
comes to body odor. The reason being that these area is generally
covered, and the sweat does not dry soon enough causing the bacteria
to decompose it. So wear loose, Cotton undergarments and avoid wearing
tight clothes in warm weather."

and also apply talcum powder after bathing...and use anti persiperants ,which will reduce the amonth of sweat under the armpits..this will reduce the odour..

hope these tips might help you

Dear Sudha,

Application of baking soda to the armpits and feet will minimize the body odor and is good home remedy for body odor.

Put some drops of rose water in the bathtub before taking bath. No deodorant is required after the bath.

Mix some baking soda with lemon juice and rub this mixture on underarms. This is useful natural remedy too.

In 30mm of water put 10 drops of the essential oil and apply this on the underarms.

White vinegar is also helpful. Instead of using deodarant apply white vinegar with a cotton ball on the areas. This will keep the body smell free whole day.

Hope this is useful... Regards, Suni

Also, I would like to know taking bath in hot water will sweat more right?

Hi Gayathri,

You can try milk of magnesium help with the odour. Its used of constipation.Should be able to get in the pharmacy or medical shop. I have tried it and it works well. Use it twice a day after bath. Using a cotton dap around armpit areas. Its a little white when dries but works. Hope this helps you.
