<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p> hello</o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
Umpteen reasons for not having it…it messes up my hair, ….makes me look as if i'm from the countryside……i'm not going very far.. I can't hear ….i can't see.,…..its too hot….
Mr craft of non profit <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on">asia</st1:place> injury prevention foundation has campaigned for nine years to get Vietnamese motorcycle drivers to protect their heads. They are not happy to do it but now they are ready to face the facts. Motorists are a lot like Indians … a whole family travels on it. Or carry entire (?) house hold items.
The percentage of helmet wearing riders have increased from 3 percent to 15 percent in cities and 80 percent in rural areas.!!!!!
The helmet is widely derided in <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Vietnam</st1:place></st1:country-region> as the `rice cooker’….ahahaha
No wonder nobody wants to been seen riding with it.

| | Thats true Satya, But whenever I see people without helmets, I make sure to stop them if they are known to me and give them a piece of my thought about driving a two wheeler with a helmet, be a driver or a pillion driver, or I pray for them if they are unknown to me. Let us all make it a point to tell all those who are known to us who drive a two wheeler to drive with their HELMETS. |

| | Definetly that's bad for my looks..or shall I say HAIR?? ofcourse we might not look good but think of all the benefits..I wear one when I ride my bike and make sure rest of family do too..Here its the law to wear if you are going in the road by motorcycle..my sil works in emergency room and tells me how many people whose lives could be saved if they were wearing a helmet..hope many more people become aware of this safety feature.. |

| | hello rajmi in our place they dont insist that riders wear helmets. my dh used to wear one when we were in bangalore and thanks to the `rice cooker' on the head he started having a receding hairline... but yes other safety aspects warrant wearing a helmet..! sathya hello chitra you are right ya...bad for the hair. but i suppose safety comes first..! sathya |
