Umpteen reasons for not having it…it messes up my hair, ….makes me look as if i'm from the countryside……i'm not going very far.. I can't hear ….i can't see.,…..its too hot….

I had just finished cooking. The usual kootu, a salad and brown rice. With the children away working in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Bangalore</st1:place></st1:City>, I had got used to cooking minimum (?) vegetables....

The tousled curly hair made it right up to her dimples. She had that impish look. It was always fun and interesting to watch her.
<o:p></o:p>
She loved to chatter. Quite a few neighbours came in to `listen’ to her chatter. Sometimes she was silent, day dreaming? About what? we wondered....
