A positive life changing experience

“Your life will change after having a baby” said Gayle at the place where I work. Yea I’m sure it will, I thought dreamily, thinking of a beautiful baby sleeping peacefully in my arms. That was about a year ago. Fast forward now to six months after my beautiful baby is here. “Sleeping peacefully” – I don’t think so!

Simple things that I took for granted – like my sleep. Sonny suddenly decides some nights he doesn’t like the lights off, so he screams. I am terribly tired, just...

Baby P

Only half an hour more before I could rush home from work. Thinking of cooking chicken curry and bhindi bhaji today. Decided to browse through the internet to kill time. “Lindsay Lohan a bisexual?” screamed the gossip headlines…Was going through read through it when something else caught my eye. “Baby P used as a punching bag”. What’s that all about, I thought. It was about a 17-month-old toddler who was beaten and abused by his mother’s partner in the UK last year. He finally succumbed to his injuries....
