This is my blog on IL , you can expect just about anything here. It can be a poem, story, a quote , a song, a movie, a friend's real-life crisis, my office, my dreams, my ambitions..Anything which touches my heart.
Life so far has been rich whirlwind journey. It has taken me to literally whole world in term of reading , travelling and reaching out. I sometimes feel twenty four hours are less in a day. So much to do, so much to see, so much to imbibe. Have you ever looked at nature and thought.. For whom, god has created this wonderful maze of surprises.. For those who dont believe in God. I would say, for whom, this big-bang theory has created such mind blowing landscapes.

My dear kiddo Taz .. Hang on
Well I am at my lazy self again. I want to post picture and video of my newly set up aquarium. I have been planning an aquarium for past one year. But due to my injury it got delayed. Now that I felt I am all up and running, so I thought of fulfilling this wish of mine. I have got a small aquarium with three goldfishes.
So far its been hunky dory. But since yesterday I am worried and sick for my poor fishy's health. Out of three fishys I have named them Taz- White and Orange faintailes, Uno - Golden colores faintailed, Foxy - Black and white Faintailed.
Two of them are happy and thriving. But one is really sick and idle. I have put in some two hours searching stuff for her sickness. Even called up her doc, he says she is just stressed. Other shop consultant said, if she is coming to eat food, she is good. God knows.. How to convince my little worried heart who is just so sad. Whenever my Taz sits down to bottom of Aquarium, my hearts sinks equally low. My hubby is kind of jealous to see that much concern for fishes. He is not liking this sharing I guess... Thats on lighter note.
After reading up stuff I decided to cycle some 10% water to make sure water quality is good. Right water change my fishy did a quick round and again sat on bottom. Today she responded much better . At least she played with me for ten minutes in morning. I hope I find her all jumping around in evening.
This whole incident taught me one thing, how helpless parents feel when their kid is out in open with more aggressive kids. Their heart wants to run adn protect their kid with all their might. But their mind has to allow them to experience independence. Uno and Foxy are lot more aggressive than Taz, they kind of are non-receptive to my Taz.. I dont like it.. But for some reason I have to wait until they develop harmony. I had to let Foxy eat all of Taz food and somehow fight my heart's desire to take out Taz and feed her myself..
Such a difficult emotion. Taz dear, you got to learn to be aggressive and fight for your rights!

| |  Thanks Ranganayaki and Sunkan. I agree they are delicate beings to handle. Today evening I am seeing much improvement in Taz. So happy for her. |

| |  Naming fishes - I thought I was the only one doing it. Mine are Chintu and Chooey..Betta fishes. Chooey is female fish and has been suddenyl sick fro a week. She jumps out of water all the time. We had three. I cried when the the last one died...Emotional attachment to pets-  I starteda thread under hobbies to talk about fishes, taking care of them, medications etc. Taz should be okay soon. She is getting accustomed to the new environment. Do not worry dear. Liked the names. |

| |  Hi Ria, wow.....u r a real champ in giving so pretty names....loved ur description.....I think the little taz is curious and will take his own time know the environment around her...... Hi Meen, I love the Beta fish......they are cute too... I had them back in India who were murdered mrutally by the little kids in zest of feeding him cakes/pastries in my absence.....though my Mom did a quick water change and everything but that 1-2 hr stress was not bearable for them.......yeah, felt bad for the death of your fish...... Regards. |

| | Yeah indeed they are cute beingsHey Meen, Wow! glad to find another pet enthusiast. I am like nature's kid.. If i could I would even tiger's cubs as pets. I find them really royal.  Liked your fish's pic and names too. I would also post a pic of my fishys. I guess without naming it s harder to converse about them. To my surprise my husband wants to keep different names for them.. He s up come up with real copycat names like, nemo, memo and Paaro.. Meeta Yeah indeed it took me a week's time to find right names. Its nice to know you also are a pet enthusiast. Ria |

| | hi ria...i had named mine sonu monu..and they were such a cute couple...please take very good care of them..felt heartbroken when i lost one after the other..did ask for advice from friends to find out if i was doing something wrong and the general comment was it happens... mindi |
