Though I dont maintain a regular dairy, I have always made it a point to pen down my thoughts and there are lots of collection in it. Hereafter I think I could make this my personal diary to talk loud my personal thoughts.
Some might say that diaries are personal, but my personal diary is not so and I wish all those who go through it share their thoughts about mine.

What is there in your handbag?

Dear Ladies,
Have you ever checked recently what do you really have in your handbag? Do you really know what you have in your handbag/purse? Can you take a bet as to what will be found if someone searches your handbag?
I can say for sure what I have in my handbag I said when my friend asked me yesterday. She asked me to list out all that she could find in my bag; I listed it out and she found out that I was almost accurate. But when I asked her she was so reluctant to say or give her bag to me. She said she really dont know what she has and she generally stuffs all that she gets and all that are around into her bag.
So we just tried to sort out what all she had in her bag. To her and my amazement and shock we even found one rotten banana too
. She sheepishly admitted that whenever she opened her bag she had always smelled something bad but she never tried to find out the cause for it. We also found out some bills and papers that are so important and that need to be filed. 
. I know she is not the only person and there are so many friends who are like that around.
I should really thank my husband for cultivating the habit of keeping my handbag with the necessary things and the necessary things alone.
So dear ladies before it is long check your handbags for you might find long lost treasures inside it.

 | Rajmi, That was a good one. As for me, i have a very small handbag ( its called a baguette like the bread  )So all i can fit in is my wallet, mobile and keys. Thats it. Nothing else. So thankfully it reamains clean most of the time. Ofcourse, i do accumulate a weeks worth of bills , which I am forced to clean since my bag will protest by not closing:mad: Vandhana |

| |  What is there in your handbag?Dear Rajmi, I also cannot stuff anything more than what is needed. The bag which I take to the office contains purse, mobile, some emergency homeo medicines some hair pins, safety pins and of course Bhindi, and some bits of papers to write in emergency, with a pen. you can check it up when you see me next. Only if I go out of Chennai my bag will get stuffed with all the things. Love Latha |

I generally keep track of the contents in my handbag but once I was careless and faced embarassment at the airport. The bag was screened and it generated beeps.The security had to do a manual check too and finally the reason was.. too many coins in the bag. He returned the bag with a grin and commented.. A must in my bag is: My mobile My housekeys Safetypins A sanitary pad when the days are nearing Few big currencies in case of emergency hidden safely A small pouch with little money My Bank ATM cards My Credit Cards My PAN Card Matching shade of lipstick Eyeliner Comb Nailcutter and tweezer A passport size photograph My scarf A small water bottle Few Tissue Papers A Pen and small chits to scribble |

When going a little far...i take my bigger bag...(i tried to list..today. .)my rotohaler box, emergency medicines. tissues. my swiss knife. pen, paper, a bindi pack, my camera and ofcouse my purse goes in... a s.napkin... a hair clip.. a comb. |

| | Oh thats nice Shanvy, You too take a purse and a bigger bag like me. But my bigger bag consists of a water bottle for DD and DS and a diaper for DS and his wipes too. So I will be carrying a hand bag and another bag too with these items and a change of dress for my DS. Dunno when I will be able to stop carrying the other bag. |

| |  Hi Rajmi, It's so interesting to know what other ladies keep in their handbags.... As per me, I usually carry a big tote (I am listing the bag which I carry to my office/work) with small bags inside. So, I keep my purse in it with all the money and credit/debit/ID cards. Then another small purse with all the ladies items like a small comb, a band, back clip/small side clips, a lipstick (I brought this from Avon which has 4 shades stacked one over the another), small perfume bottle, a small compact, hand creme and lip-moisturiser. I prefer to have at least one sanitary pad inside my bag for in case..... I also put some face tissue and scented towellette during summer. Here, we have to carry our launch from home mostly, so I have to carry my launch bag too and inside it, I have my launch box and one zip-lock pack of light snacks......in case I feel hungry working all the day...... Also, my tote has its attachment for key rings and cell phone with attached diary/pen and a small pouch to carry my business cards. As I used to take the subway to my work, I always have a small umbrella inside my bag too......and in winter......many winter stuffs also...and FINALLY MANY TYPES OF CHOCOLATES....... So, this is a small description of my hand bag......and about the cleaning part dear ladies..........I like my hubby to clean and arrange it.....I find its too romantic....... Regards. |
