Though I dont maintain a regular dairy, I have always made it a point to pen down my thoughts and there are lots of collection in it. Hereafter I think I could make this my personal diary to talk loud my personal thoughts.
Some might say that diaries are personal, but my personal diary is not so and I wish all those who go through it share their thoughts about mine.
Thanks in advance for visiting my personal diary.(Virtual).

Dear Friends,
We had a small kids party at home on 25th as it was Shrawan's birthday. I had to run to the kid's school in the morning, again have to go and pick Shrawan in the afternoon, and as it was P&T day for my daughter I have to go that too. After working like a clock right from morning 5.30, I felt a bit tired and just relaxed for a while. Just when I was relaxing my mom asked me whether I have finished preparing the juice, etc etc., I
, said amma pls let me relax for just 15 mins, then I will resume. Infact she was also helping me a lot and I have made her take rest as she had a swollen feet on that day. Moreover I feel that she is doing all the work all alone at home, even though the work is for just my mom and dad. So whenever she comes to visit us, I make sure that she relaxes a lot. She was like, Oh I am relaxing and you have to do all the work, and you are not allowing me to do anything and you have lots to finish off before the kids come. I just have to cool her down and resumed the work after relaxing. (Yes I didnt get up before 15 mins
)
Just at that time, my mom said, like all moms, you just need to be even more fast, and should relax after finishing all the work. If you relax in the middle you will not be able to relax effectively. You just have to remember the Pudutha Ezhunthukatha Marumagal.
Let me tell you that story. My father used to tell this story very often.
There was a very rich man in a village who had a son and a daughter. When they both came to the marriageable age, he started looking for prospects for both of them. The only condition he had for the bride was, she should not get up once she lies down; for the groom was, he should not get up once he sits.
All those who came up with prospects were confused and they just didnot bring any. Atlast, the marriage was also performed, and the rich man was beaming at his DIL and SIL. When one of the relatives enquired whether they match his conditions he said yes. And he also gave an explanation to his condition.
He wanted a DIL who will not get up after she lies down for sleep, when that will happen, only when she have finished all her work.
He wanted a SIL who will not get up once he sits, when will that happen? In general it is considered sitting on the floor is of a great respect. If a man is sitting on the floor, and even if someone respectable comes, he neednot get up to wish or greet them. Instead he could do it with sitting on the floor.
And this is how the rich man have got his DIL and SIL.
I thought, for a moment, OMG, in today's world, and the amount of work we have, is it possible to be like that. Friends, share your views and ideas.

| | Yes Sriniketan, Most of the time we are like that DIL. I have seen many of my cousins behaving like the SIL(probably they too have heard that story from their father). Thanks. |
