Today when I called up my MOM, to wish her,she was travelling, gone to visit her MOM. It was a coincidence that she timed her visit today..as it was a sunday and as Nani stays about 300 KM away.
After talking to her I was remembering both of them...they who are the epitome of patience, soft spoken words and generosity. And the fact that I'm so very different, SO I realised how I hound my DS..this write up is for both my Ma ( even thinking of her makes me realize my mistakes)and My DS( read on and you'll know why)......

These are the most used lines I hound my DS withDrowning
Because I'm your mom....
Even today I can not talk to my parents this way....
Don't speak the word if you do not know the meaning.
If others will jump into the well, will you too?
Money does not grow on trees.
Your parents have more experience , so they know what is better for you.
You were always so good, what has got into you nowdays.
I cook the stuff I know will be good for you, so better eat it.
I feel like I am staying in a pigsty, since you have grown up.( used mostly by my dh).
Close the door...switch off the lights not required...do not waste water...do not waste food...do not litter...do nottttttttRant
My God ,I never thought I say so many...I started with only 3-4 in my mind, but they just caught up. Must be some mommy syndrome...Big Laugh
Do you also have this syndrome.

    Dear Muzna

Now a days children understand everything, sotheyhave questions and answers for everything. So we have to deal with them patiently. Previously it was not like that children used to listen to what their mother's say. Now times are changing. Mothers require patience to deal with their children.

Many mothers must be facing the problems you are facing. Hope I have not written anything wrong

    So many syndroms..........poor bacha yaar
Don't worry we all travel in the same boat, use to say when DS was small but not now a days they will know what is right and wrong once they grow up.
And in return will start asking, why should I keep the room clean every now and then i will be needing things why can't it be there just like that.
Boys are boys can't change them.......haha
once responsiblities start falling on them they will change.

    Dear Vijiji
Nice to see you here, you are right that with times changing, the way to tackle kids should also , but that is easier said than done. I havenoted your suggestions , and I hope it works.
And ...when I write in an open forum and do not moderate, it is only as I wish to know other person's point of view, other wise I'll write for my own self only. Thanks for leaving your point of view.

Sorry to interrupt. When I read Aruna's comments it brought me memories of my son when he was in school. The same lines he also used to say that the things should be as it is as he has kept otherwise it will be difficult for him to find his things. He used to say house means it should be like that , if it is very clean then it is not a house. I think all boys are same and moms also. When I was giving the comment I did not remember about this. He also used to say go and see in my friend's house its all same.
