Today when I called up my MOM, to wish her,she was travelling, gone to visit her MOM. It was a coincidence that she timed her visit today..as it was a sunday and as Nani stays about 300 KM away.
After talking to her I was remembering both of them...they who are the epitome of patience, soft spoken words and generosity. And the fact that I'm so very different, SO I realised how I hound my DS..this write up is for both my Ma ( even thinking of her makes me realize my mistakes)and My DS( read on and you'll know why)......
Her
These are the most used lines I hound my DS withDrowning
Because I'm your mom....
Even today I can not talk to my parents this way....
Don't speak the word if you do not know the meaning.
If others will jump into the well, will you too?
Money does not grow on trees.
Your parents have more experience , so they know what is better for you.
You were always so good, what has got into you nowdays.
I cook the stuff I know will be good for you, so better eat it.
I feel like I am staying in a pigsty, since you have grown up.( used mostly by my dh).
Close the door...switch off the lights not required...do not waste water...do not waste food...do not litter...do nottttttttRant
My God ,I never thought I say so many...I started with only 3-4 in my mind, but they just caught up. Must be some mommy syndrome...Big Laugh
Do you also have this syndrome.

    Dear Deep
SO rightly said that we keep on complaining about the kids' behaviour but when they leave the nest , our eyes are wet. But what to do, the sense of responsibility does not allow us to relax...e.g. nowdays it is the vacation time.... so the whole days passes by just in making them take a bath, eating , vacation H.W...et al. And there is no other way out.
We will just remember all this when we are alone.
Thanks for visiting my sapace and leaving a meaningful fb.

    hai muzna,
it is not just sons ,even girls r like that nowadays. no time to clean even their rooms. my daughters rarely keep their room clean. while my elder one spreads clothes and books allover, my younger one throws her toys everywhere, not just their room. i feel so embarassed when some unexpected guest comes in. any suggestions to make them more disciplined? my DH is too fond of his daughters and says that i should not take such things seriously. he reminds me that one day they will leave the nest and then there will no one to make a mess ,so let them do whatever they want. i don't agree with him because if they don't learn now they will never learn. children ,boys or girls should be made to follow some rules .what say?

    - this line is my favourite. Even if this statement is conveyed seriously, I find it hillarious !!because it is so commonly used by all mothers !

    Thanks,

I felt like I was looking at my homeesp the younger one, just loves to spread alll the stuff, not just his toys.He will bring down all in the shoe rack specially.
I am seriously considering to remove the racks...but don't know where to keep the stuff
