Today when I called up my MOM, to wish her,she was travelling, gone to visit her MOM. It was a coincidence that she timed her visit today..as it was a sunday and as Nani stays about 300 KM away.
After talking to her I was remembering both of them...they who are the epitome of patience, soft spoken words and generosity. And the fact that I'm so very different, SO I realised how I hound my DS..this write up is for both my Ma ( even thinking of her makes me realize my mistakes)and My DS( read on and you'll know why)......

These are the most used lines I hound my DS withDrowning
Because I'm your mom....
Even today I can not talk to my parents this way....
Don't speak the word if you do not know the meaning.
If others will jump into the well, will you too?
Money does not grow on trees.
Your parents have more experience , so they know what is better for you.
You were always so good, what has got into you nowdays.
I cook the stuff I know will be good for you, so better eat it.
I feel like I am staying in a pigsty, since you have grown up.( used mostly by my dh).
Close the door...switch off the lights not required...do not waste water...do not waste food...do not litter...do nottttttttRant
My God ,I never thought I say so many...I started with only 3-4 in my mind, but they just caught up. Must be some mommy syndrome...Big Laugh

    Muzna rightly said!
These are my cliches with my DS who is grown up & working
    1) keep your car clean, arrange the boot
    2) make your bed, don't leave the wet towel on the bed
    3) wait till you get your kids, then you will know
    4) come and eat now, surf later
    5) put the clothes for washing in the laundry bag
    6) (my DS has a bad habit of leaving the wardrobe open) close the cupboard door
    7) Since my DS is marriageable age looking at the haphazard way he does- my cliche is " your wife will run away or you are not fit to get married".

Boys are boys, but still they have a way of making you feel good. All they got to say sorry ma ! then i will end up cleaning.

    Dear Muzna
I have got 2 daughters. One has already left the nest and the other one will do the same very soon.Your post reminds me about the uproar in my sister's house who'got two sons.Just do remember one thing, time doth fly very fast ,ur boys too would leave ur nest &go away very soon.So be patient and enjoy ur son's childhood, adolescence as well as his innoccent pranks which u would turn into fond memories once he has left urlap.
Hope it doesn't sound like preaching.

    Lovedyour fb...esp the no.7.....haha
Keeping the wet towel on the bed is a small concern when compared with dumping the stuff where ever it is.
and the cupboard door is peretually open.......my GOD
******I'm seeing stars...all ds are same.
