My School Days Part 1 - Blogs - IndusLadies


My dislikes about school days continued:


We used to have P.T section (physical training) on Saturdays. Oh lord, they had decided to keep us in size zero that time itself.


I loved my body so much, I dint want to strain it by doing exercise.


I would even pray to fall ill on Friday nights, so that I can miss School and P.T on Saturdays…….my strong immune system would never budge for that prayer.




On Saturdays itself, we were given home work list to be done on Sundays…..if they want us to work on Sundays also, why did they give so called holiday??


Are they trying to save electricity by closing school for one day??

The homework list used to be so lengthy; I couldn’t even watch any TV shows……while writing I could listen to Ramayana stories, antaakshari, new movie songs, top movies of the week etc from adjacent hall.

All home work would be finished by evening.

I couldn't go for play as I would be very tired…… i had to pack CARGO ……i mean school bag for next day.


Same would happen on National Holidays………..so all together I dint like holidays.



On few occasions, we should wear color dress(apart from uniforms)……few girls would dress up well and look good than me………I ended up not liking color dress day!!!!!!!




Even during summer holidays, same work load of home works were given,but the difference was-- I would do home work in grannies place with all TV programmes running in the background.

Again comes the saddest part……..after returning to school………we will be told to write a long essay on what we did in summer holidays.

oh man , don’t they know we did only home work writing??

Why do they pester us with essay about everything??

Are they training us to be good writers?? I have indirectly ended up writing Stories here in Blog section!!!!!!




Writing imposition for every wrong answer written in test or exam is the worst nightmare…….yes we should write them for 20-30 times depending on teachers mood.


A boy was fighting with a girl next to him over a eraser issue…….so he was told to write I WONT TALK WITH VANITHA AGAIN for 150times!!!!!!!!!
