Whenever we try to do something we have to plan it properly. Starting from daily cooking to arranging for a Marriage. Usually I do this. I will prepare a list. Say Deevali is a comming, for that I will start writing a list before 20 days.
Yes I will plan my function. First I will write the names of the sweets and savories as per my wish. Then I will ask my husband and son. They add or change the items. Then again I will prepare a list of ingredients of the items.
I will graind flours, keep them ready for the function. Even I used to prepare a list for the menu for the day and arrange things for that. So it will be easy for me to proceed without any tension.
Actually my father used to do like this. From him I learned this. After marriage for the first time I followed this for my Seemandam, and for the first time we celeberated the function in the Chatram.
I was the last person went out of the house, because I had the prepared list in my hand and I started ticking each and every thing which we shifted from house to chatram.
My grand father as well as my FIL appreciated me for my work. With out leaving a single spoon we brought back all the things from the chatram.
I was so happy that I got a very good name for my work for the first time itself. Till this day I am following the habit.
After comming here it is very useful to us to get gift for all our friends and relatives without fail. because I am having the list in my hand. So ladies what is your oppinion about this?

This is one thing which is true in all aspects of life, let it be cooking, at office work, personal work etc. Like for example, while trying to purchase house, the documents needed, like arranging them and writing down everything does help me a lot. Only when it comes to cooking and kitchen I havent implemented planning. Its 10 months since our marriage, but I did find your posts truly worth applause and it has given me a motivation to start planningPosted 25th October 2007 at 05:07 AM by ptamil2007

Hi Krishnamma..........
Thanks for posting this post..........really, I need this kind of motivation.......
I have seen my mom making lists and now here, my hubby is doing the same........Even for grocery, they used to make list.....so I never have to do any kind of listing things.'
I only make list in my office so that I will know, what to do and when to do, so that I will be done with my day's work........
Even, while in school and college, I used to make a list, rather a table to finish my course and this helped me a lot..........but in family things, I never tried this so far, but now as I am going to India for just one month, I think, it will be gr8 to have a plan/list of things to be done/list of person to visit.......
thank you for this post..........
regards.

Dear ptamil,
Thank you for your valuable comment. You are correct. we have to plan each and everything in this busy world . Then only we can do our works correctly with out any problem. As you said whether it is cooking or for any other work.
You are now in Finland, before leaving India you must have prepared a list and according to that only you would have packed your items. Is it not? so let us plan things and do them easily.Posted 30th January 2008 at 04:43 AM by krishnaamma
