'Arai Kaasu Amman'
This goddess is very very famous in relocating the lost or missed items or to remember where u have kept the things this has happened in my life many times.
In case you have lost or do not remember where u have kept things , documents or any articles are lost, you say that u will keep jaggery and think of this goddess and pray, within no time your items / things will be retrieved.
'Arai Kaasu Amman' is the Deity to whom it is customary to pray when you lose something. There is a belief that She finds it for you and you just have treat her with some 'jaggery'. It has been true in most of my cases.
Here I am giving that ' 'Arai Kaasu Amman' s photo also. Actually the koil is in Pudhukottai and the name of the koil is 'Arulmigu Sri Bragathambal Thiru Koil' . And now one new koil is near Vandalur Zoo. It name is 'Sri Lakshmi Kuberar Temple' and it is in Ratnamangalam near Vandalur Zoo.

Hi dear friend vidhu,
ya she is a famous God. In my house also we pray her to relocate things. but so far I heard about offering jaggery to her. this is the first time I am hearing from you that we have to keep 'panakam' but no problem, we can keep either panakam or jaggery to her. After all she is our lovable mother, surely she with accept both. what do you say?Posted 25th November 2008 at 11:12 AM by krishnaamma

Hi all!
I am Shashi and this is my first response to any topic in this site.
As soon as I read about "Arai Kasu Amman" in this website, I thought that I should share my story about this wonderful Goddess with all of you.
It was May 2004 and I had lost all my jewels, including my little daughter's in a house burglary. In spite of follow ups and regular visits to the area police station. nothing happened. About 6 months back, my mom told me about this Amman she read in a Tamil magazine called "Alayam." Thereafter, I started praying to this Amman, offering her a bit of jaggery as prasadam. One early morning, about a month back, a police officer from the same police station came and informed us that we are getting part of the lost jewels back!! Isn't it amazing? We had given up on this as five years have passed since the robbery. We had no hope at all. But this Amman changed all that! Truly Great!
Again, it is a blessing that my first response to this site is in the name of Arai Kasu Amman! May she bless us all and the whole world!!

i came to know about Goddess Arai Kasu Amman today. i had lost my sony ericsson mobile phone on May 29 th in vijayawada and even lodged a compaint there and returned to hyderabad. everyone tell me to forget about it and that i will never get it back as the police have more serious problems to deal with. but i cannot forget it because i had taken some beautiful pictures and videos of my kids and had not yet uploaded them. so, when i came to know about the powers of the Mother, i want to really pray for her blessings. living in andhra pradesh, i don't know about this diety. no one told me too. now that i know i feel i should pray to her. but are any shlokas to recite or just pray in my own way as i offer prayers to other dieties everyday. i had lost my phone long time back (almost two months) is it too late? please help me...Posted 20th July 2009 at 08:52 AM by Raji01
