Whenever we try to do something we have to plan it properly. Starting from daily cooking to arranging for a Marriage. Usually I do this. I will prepare a list. Say Deevali is a comming, for that I will start writing a list before 20 days.
Yes I will plan my function. First I will write the names of the sweets and savories as per my wish. Then I will ask my husband and son. They add or change the items. Then again I will prepare a list of ingredients of the items.
I will graind flours, keep them ready for the function. Even I used to prepare a list for the menu for the day and arrange things for that. So it will be easy for me to proceed without any tension.
Actually my father used to do like this. From him I learned this. After marriage for the first time I followed this for my Seemandam, and for the first time we celeberated the function in the Chatram.
I was the last person went out of the house, because I had the prepared list in my hand and I started ticking each and every thing which we shifted from house to chatram.
My grand father as well as my FIL appreciated me for my work. With out leaving a single spoon we brought back all the things from the chatram.
I was so happy that I got a very good name for my work for the first time itself. Till this day I am following the habit.
After comming here it is very useful to us to get gift for all our friends and relatives without fail. because I am having the list in my hand. So ladies what is your oppinion about this?

hi Krishnaamma,
I am slowing reading your posts!!! Well said by all above!! Indeed being a home maker is the toughest job of all jobs....and the best reward / award one gets is from one's children and husband. When they both are happy then life is complete.
I think above they have left out HR...Human Resources...believe me..thats the most complex job..to take care of everyone and everyones wishes AND keep them happy. Wise people often say that being a grihastha ...householder is the most tough yet the most rewarding post! Reference maybe male but it applies mostly to females!

you are correct. I too read slowly but I will reply to all my posts. and almost I will give a reply post in all my threads. that will encourage the reader na?
as you said Jai missed Human Resources. yes it is a complex job. For male, they have to coordinate with one family. but we ; we have to make a good link between our mother side and MIL side. rite? it is a very big job dear. கத்தி மேல் நடப்பது போல் தான். ஹும். மெல்ல படியுங்கள்!
