The Melbourne Cup is Australia’s most famous horse race and is truly the race that stops a nation. All over Australia people tune in to watch or listen to the race. All work comes to a standstill for those few minutes (race starts at 3pm Australian Eastern Standard time to be exact). It is a public holiday in Melbourne and considered a biggest tourist attraction of Victoria. (Melbourne is the capital of the state of Victoria). My London Experience (part 3 of 3)

Posted 4th October 2009 at 02:08 AM by knot2share

The queue was so long and the fear of missing the tour bus was so high, that we decided not to go in there! Oxford campus is very huge and the buildings looked very grand. Everything about it was grand and undoubtedly...

My London Experience (part 2 of 3)

In some tours they try to squeeze in quite a lot for one day, but we can't complain when we are pressed for time. The places we visited were Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Roman Baths, Warwick Castle, Stratford upon Avon, Oxford and Christchurch University, City of London and Westminster, St Paul's Cathedral , Tower of London, Cruise on the Thames River and...
