I am going to try my luck on blogs. Need everyone's encouragement

Nature has given to man one tongue, but two ears, that we mayhear from others twice as much as we speak.

In life there is always a good and bad. Some people are treated with great respect but some are not treated so. Those who are smart and know to carry themselves is respected by everyone and lead their life peacefully. Whereas people who are not so bold and don’t know to carry themselves feel very unsecured always.

Every one is not so talented. Each one has some good qualities in them . Some might be great in cooking but they don’t know the outside world. But this world gives importance to people who are smart. Some are good in doing outside work but at home they don’t know cooking and they don’t take interest also in that. They love enjoying themselves . But in this world people expect that a woman should know everything, the work inside the house and also outside the house.

There are so many restrictions for married, un married, widows etc. Some rituals cant be done by widows. People don’t understand how a widow must be feeling when she is not allowed to take part in some rituals. Feel sorry for them.Atleast now a days widows keep tickli on their forehead so people don’t know whether they are widow or not.

Some are so nervous that they don’t know to show their talent. Whatever they do they do it with fear and sometimes it does not turn out properly. Some are very confident and whatever they do turns out nicely and they get the appreciation from everyone. Some people know to talk nicely so they get along with everyone. Some are sweet on the face but inside they are different. All that glitters is not gold. If some people cook it turns out nicely and everyone will say her kai manam is very good, means whatever she does turns out nicely. Even when we go to some shops the shopkeeper will say if u do boni then there is good sale at the shop. Don’t know whether he is applying maska or really he means it.

To live is this world you should be smart and know to carry yourselves.

Cooking is an art. Everyone knows that the way to a man's heart is feeding him with nice dishes

Some people have kai manam, whatever they cook turns out well. They do cooking without measuring but it turns out well. When they are cooking the aroma is everywhere. People coming from outside know that something is being cooked.

For some after taking proper measurements also it does not turn well.

Before marriage my grandmother used to cook, by 7 a.m. everything will be ready. She used to tell us u people have to cook after marriage now u enjoy your life.

Still some times I used to try out recipies. Whenever I used to read new recipies I used to copy it down and try sometimes.

When I was married in my inlaws house everyone was expert in cooking including the men. So I used to get nervous sometimes.

In the office my friends used to appreciate my cooking and like the dishes I used to bring for lunch.

Making mysore pak is a little difficult for some but somehow I was able to learn it and whenever I had made it it had turned out well.

When I had taken the same to office two of myoffice friends wanted to know how it is made. So once during lunch hour I went to my friend's house and showed her. Another time I went to another friend's house who was that time my boss and showed her how tomake.

This time when my daughter went to Dubai it did not come out so well, though the shape had come well and everything was alright but while eating could get the sugar.
So again I made it yesterday and it came out nice.

I agree with you, some people cook so well! My elder sis cooks very well....I tell my elder sister, that I like ANYTIHNG cooked by her!

My grandma was a champ at making Mysore pak too, I have tried a couple of times, some times it comes out well....if the kadale maav(gram flour) is bad, the pak goes for a toss!

Now I grind the kadale maav by myself, giving it to the flour mill near by, and it helps a lot

    Dear Radha

Glad to receive your first feedback. My granny was also an expert in cooking and whatever we used to like she used to make it immdediately.

Ya correct if the kadala mavu is not good the mysore pak does not turn out well. This time when I made mysore pak the kadala mavu was very good.

Glad to know that your sis cooks well.

    love
