Like this we have used ,using dozens of english words in our day-to-day life....There was scarcity of tamizh words among Tamizh people..
I do agree we cann't rely on Tamil itself we should also learn more languages to survive in this world but though as a Tamilian why cann't we save our language at least by talking with our close friends and relatives and maintaining its standards in media ?

It is a good article.I use to feel like that. When two hindi people meet they talk in Hindi. When two Malayali people meet each other they talk Malayalam. But when two Tamil people meet they will talk only in English.bonkWhat to do?
But I want to tell you one thing. There are 2 Tamil channels, 'Makkal' and 'Tamilian' .They talk only pure Tamil , which is very nice to hear. Let us hope in future all the channels will follow this.Posted 28th November 2007 at 09:50 AM by krishnaamma
