God is helping me...

Sometimes I feel, God creates situations and forces me to help people. I think this is to balance the bad and the good
Well, here is one such "category" of situations. Whenever I travel abroad, at least one person approaches me for filling the Immigration form. It is not necessary for that person to sit next to me and hence become entitled to being helped, but they may be sitting in the row behind or ahead of me or somewhere far away too. I guess I just appear to be really free.
Not that I mind helping them, but it is such an awkward situation.
For one, you do not know them.
They handover the form, passport to you.
The form has questions like "have you ever committed crime" - I always wonder - what if that person says "yes", I was once caught carrying drugs !!!
Then there are questions like "Are you carrying more than $10000?" - As if he / she is going to tell me.
Typically the travellers who need help are elderly people and are going to visit their kids and are really bogged down by the formalities. So naturally, we want to help them.
But I sometimes worry about the security aspect...what if they have really committed crime in the past, what if they are carrying something illegal? If caught by the authority, will (s)he tell, "I had told her, but she didn't write it in the form and its not my fault."
That's the risk I always think of, but still always take... I make it a point I ask them all the questions as it is - no matter how embarassing it is for them and for me. I feel, it will be my bad luck if I am booked under the offense of "helping someone"!
What's your take on it ladies? I am sure you encountered similar situations.
