Hey do you suffer from any of these??
I looked at the screen all blank. Didn’t know what to do next. The PC that was fine with me till now suddenly kicked up a fuss and refused to oblige despite the fact that I looked pleadingly at it. Wham…. Gone now !!!I couldn’t do anything about it till help arrives in some form. Well that’s it folks... I am suffering, Just like a persons inability to read and decipher is Dyslexic, I am too yes I am ...COMPULEXIC that’s the word I derived , cause I saw myself as a unique minority . Anything apart from mailing, scares me. I am compulexic.
Sheetal went to her new house, all happy to begin life anew, Married life... Her first day she was to prepare a sweet and get a hefty shagun for it in cash or Gold. She entered the kitchen and almost trembled. She hadn’t told her In laws... She was COOKLEXIC Cooking was something she couldn’t learn and seemed beyond her.
Vinita’s husband got her into the car, Ok now she could drive .It was almost six months has been trying to teach her, she sat behind the wheel and as usual her hands turned cold. She just couldn’t .She looked at Ashok. “I cant I am DRIVELEXIC. Though I desperately want to,just can’t get myself to drive”...
Anu set the alarm clock to 6. She must and she will she vowed .I shall get up early. The alarm rang. She switched it off and got back to snoring, to later get up and rue the fact that she was WAKELEXIC. She couldn’t wake up on the time she wanted to...
Farhan ran to catch the train. Oh God he missed it again. No excuses the boss would definitely fire him today. Why couldn’t he punctual.?? He wished to be punctual but unfortunately couldn’t bring himself to it. He would lose his job all because he was TIMELEXIC...
Friends do you suffer from any of these or something else that no matter how hard you try and how very much you want to ,you just cannot seem to get it right, leaving you frustrated and at your wits end. The lexics of life as I call it. Let’s discuss it here.
Love,
Devika

| | hey Cheers Sunray, You have a very positive avatar!! As far as lexics go its said that any habit takes about 21 days to get to the system ,so if you kinda follow something for that period it becomes a habit.. Thanks for stepping in here!! Love, Devika |

| | Hey Queeny, I hope you dont feel it in the coming trip!! I guess what you feel happens to most of us.i even feel homesick If I go to my sisters house 50 kms away. So youre much better I guess atleast your talking about travelling from one country to the next. Yes there is a lot of excitement and anxiety whilst meeting your people as also while distancing from them.Does this have anything to do with that!! Also I think I shall name this Travelexia. !! | | Hi Dear Devika, I feel I am most of the kinds of LEXICS you have cited here.... First and foremost....WAKELEXIC....I hate waking up on time......so had to set three or more alarms before the actual waking time....It's my daily routine....you can sympathesise with my husband dearest..... Then, I am a COOKLEXIC......dislike cooking most of the time and finally my dearest husband who has never uttered anything in last 2 years, told me last week that if possible he would love to eat in his office resturant as he is sick of my sandwiche launch 4 days a week......and requested me to go back to our pre-sandwich era......(during our initial days of marriage I used to try my hands on different launch items)........ And some more lexics can be added to my profile like.....disliking ironing.....vaccuming....etc....so, in short.....a super lazy...... Regards. |

| | Oh Meeta, This is so welcome , just the thought that there is someone like me. I love you all the more now. But yes poor husband sandwiches every day for lunch. I wouldnt be surprised if he called you 'bread' instead of 'Meeta' ironing all right I too hate that. Lately my wardrobe has more of creasefree clothes ,so save me the pain. Wish there was a remedy for the others too. Anyway Meeta youre not alone dear . look at the list above and be happy to know that youre merely one in a crowd here. But a humble request dear please treat your hubby to something apartr from sandwiches atleast once a week or he might land up with bread phobia. Love, Devika |

| | Nice to have some time to post a comment for your blog. I have been missing your gems in the poem section for the lack of time. As for the lexic mania, I could surely be called SWIMMLEXIC for swimming is one sport I struggle with learning! I am not afraid of water per say. I will go para-sailing, I love to ride the wave runner etc. But when it comes to swimming I get cold feet. I think I could be classified as a RESTLEXIC because no matter how much I plan to rest, I end up not resting. On weekends after an hour of inactivity I get restless do something. Before I know the day is over and I am tired as any regular week day! I am sure there are many more. I guess if I ask hubby he will come up with a huge list none of which will be even slightly flattering! SS |

| | Dear SS, There you go again making me feel its me your talking about !! I too have this Swimlexia and Restalexia. I cannot even sit down to watch a 3 hour movie its too much of non occupation for me. Fidgety.Restless. Need to be doing something constructively fulfilling but then again it cannot be someting monotonous, there has to be this constant change.Hey I guess with hubbies you'll find very amazing traits that are so similar in regards to Lexics. SS my poems section await you!! Love, Devika |
