Be a part of the solution….......

But, never become the victim of a problem.
I personally feel, it is our perspective which makes all the difference. At the onset of a seeming problem, we just rush to start complaining. If we pause, we can think how to solve the problem instead of wasting time in analysing why problems should happen “only to me” !
I think, by giving us a tough situation, call it a problem, God tests our solving skills. Under pressure, all vital skills come to the fore and we must believe, “I can; I definitely can”.
Can we call nature, unkind? Definitely not. Some things in nature happen to make us understand the place and meaning of difficulties in life.
We have to accept that sometimes the winds are strong and unfavourable in the sea. For a swimmer, this may not be appreciable. There is danger waiting for him. But imagine a surfer. The higher the waves, the happier is the surfer! He uses that as the right opportunity to practise and improve his skills.
Creatures of the night like owls and tigers, prowl and prey in the darkness at night whereas we slumber at that time.
Thus nature by itself is neither cruel nor kind.
We have to look upon difficulties as, God-given opportunities to develop our survival skills. Otherwise, they would be lying dormant in our system.
A weight-lifter works hard in fatigue and sweat; but the result is his muscles become tough to face a challenge.
A hunter goes into a forest and waits for wild animals to cross his way. What we consider as dangerous animals are looked forward by him, to hunt! What we shudder is an enjoyable fun-filled sport for him.
If our entire life goes by a pre-programmed schedule, just imagine, how bored we would feel? It cannot be forever, favourable, pleasant situations in life for everybody!
Our perception makes all the difference. By ruminating over an imaginary problem, we give power to it and even activate it, by our sheer thought power! But why??
So, let us accept that there is a hidden purpose for everything happening in the world and life is not a series of accidents.
Love,
Chithra.

| | Dear Chith Nature as such is not cruel or kind. It can be seen if we look at things with a postive attitude it appears good and when we look in things with a negative approach and it gives us the impression that is very bad. Every difficult situation is an opportunity in disguise if only we look into it in the right angle. But the moment something happens we start to panic so much that we will not able to think anything. Any situations if we look panic and worrying is all needed but at the end of the day you only have to find a solution to the difficulties in hand. And each one make you realise your strength. Thought provoking post chith. Love Vidhi |

| | If there is no door for opportunity to knock, create one!Dear Chithraji, A successful person sees opportunity in every pitfall. Many Indian women who migrate to Oz are unskilled. But hats off to them, they have become successful business women. How? But cashing on their ancient skills of cooking. Life is tough when the woman of the house has to work at home & earn. There are some days she feels like kicking back & having hot food food served. What is tiresome to one set of women, it is a serious job for others. Instead of looking at the negative effects of some incidents in life, we can see the positive side & enrich ourselves. Opportunity lurks in every corner. It is up to us to seize it & make it work to our advantage. Regards, Corallux |

| | Dear Vidhi, welcome with your first FB, in this thread. Not only our attitude, our mood at that time also does make a difference. If it rains on a holiday, we enjoy sitting at home, cosily watching TV and are happy, it is raining. But if it rains on a day, we plan to go out with family, we curse the rain. It is our perspective which makes all the difference, in our lives! Love, Chithra. |

| | Lux, your title is highly inspirational! Yes, we have to tap all our moral, emptional besides physical resources to rise up to any occasion. We always ask the question, "Why, me?". My gita teacher says, we have to train ourselves to ask the question, "why not me?".God has endowed all of us with one talent or other. Instead of regretting why we "alone" are in a problematic situation, we have to find out how best to deal with it. There is no choice. Love, Chithra. |

| | Dear Chithra It is true that if all of us focussed on the solution than the problem, then life would be so much better. But alas...that is not to be the case. We perform 'postmortem' of the bad event so many times that the negativity becomes ingrained in us. God has a plan for each of us. To some He may give a blessing now and to some other at a later point. May be there is a reason why some of us struggle for a long time while others seem to 'have it all easy'. In my personal experience (of course not as much as yours), almost all of my achievements (so-called??) have all come after at least one failed attempt / a disappointing factor around the success etc etc etc. Now-a-days, I have started believing it as a 'good luck sign' if something goes wrong in my first attempt..hahahaha. Thanks for a fruitful post on a Monday morning. With love Pavithra |

| | Dear Radhavj, welcome to my blogs. Every incident teaches us a lesson - that is how we have to look at life! Nobody can have smooth sailing always. But we must remember that these pains and discomforts are the very things we need at this moment to strengthen and grow wherever we are lacking. God's mercy is hidden in the apparently cruel looking circumstances of life. I am giving my email id in your profile. You can wite to me & I will give my contact no:. I cannot write in the open forum or profile, my contact no: Love, Chithra. |

| | Dear Pavi, do not ever think, anybody would have had smooth sailing in life, even if one is born with a silver spoon in mouth. We can derive some benefit and learn from every problem or difficulty of life and exploit it to our advantage. This is a wonderful law of life. There is a message in every adverse situation. It is up to us to identify it and improve ourselves. Love, Chithra. |

| | Chithu, how true? I just cant digest the fact that one whole week has sped past while i was in bed.I never expected that...that too during festival time..Sad, but life is sure full of surprises.Isnt nature the greatest juggler of all? I have heard these lines in one of those old movies...God is a greatest player...he hides moon in the day and hides sun during the night !What more can we ask for?Definitely our perception on looking at a problem will give a solution."Athirakranukku buddhi mattu" -we loose all hope and a mind to think when we are hasty as well as in trouble. But as ou have said, if we sit back and think, we are sure to arrive at some solution. | | Dear Aish Babes, probably, your life was going at a fast pace and you needed to slow down. Voluntarliy you might not have done it. But when you fell sick, you had no choice & your system got the much needed rest. This is how, very often, we have to interpret situations in life! Take care, Love, Chithra. |

| | Nice MessageHi Chitra, Nice message. As the saying rightly goes, "Tough times do not last, but tough people do" . Every one is challenged with various degrees of problems in this world. The real tact lies in handling them with great maturity which comes with age and experience. When we are young , we are more ruthless and aggressive , but experiences in life makes us more calmer and wiser as we grow older and gives us more strength to handle tougher situations with ease. Spiritualism , I believe can give oneself the inner strength that may be required. Nice post, Purni |

| | Dear Purni, we have to tell and convince ourselves that everything which happens to us in life is for our good only.In the apparently looking bad or cruel, adverse situations in life is hidden the infinite mercy of the Lord! WE have to contemplate upon it to realise it!! Love, Chithra. |

| | Dear Chitraji, How true are your words. A winner is one who can see an opportunity in every problem. But to be able to see the solution one must have the wisdom of looking at the problem with calmness & detachment. whenever any problem occurs one is swept by it at the least expected moment and at such times it is always advisable to sit back & view at the situation as an outsider, because even a small pin will look very large when viewed too close. Another way is to imagine what someone else would do in that situation. vidya |

| | Dear Vidya, when we encounter a roblem, we do tend to get flabbergasted first! Our rational thinking takes a back seat as well. But every small thing that happens in our lives has a hidden purpose. It is up to us to identify it and learn a life lesson from it! Love, Chithra. |

| | Dear Aruna, you have summed it all up so beautifully. Yes, life offers a mixture of happiness-unhappiness, good-bad situaions, pleasures-pains.One helps us identify the plus or minus of the other! Love, Chithra. |

| | Chitra mem Very correctly said. It is true that when one becomes a victom of situations then depression sets in. Physically one can surmount the problems only if mentally strong. When emotionally one feels unable then only problems arises. Mental health is the key in such situation. |

| | Dear Jaishree, our mental make-up is completely in our own hands. We have to decide, "come what may, I will go through trials and tribulations and emerge victorious". This is because, life offers us no choice often! Love, Chithra. |
