At 8.00 in the morning after a breakfast of ‘kozhakatta’ and chutney we set forth for Mysore. Since it is only a few hours of drive from here we had decided to drive down. The NICE road which was constructed & opened for public recently was such a good one that my DH wasn’t able to decelerate from 100KMPH. Around 10.30AM we reached Mysore and went directly to the famous Chamundi Hills & the Bull(Nandi) which is just 2-3KMs from Chamundi temple . We bought laddoo prasadam, clicked some pics...

I was just browsing through the newspaper and one news caught my attention, In a village in Karnataka a woman who was accused of sleeping with different men was dragged out from her house and tied in a market place and was beaten up. If you ask me what am I frightened of the most or what is it that make me lose my nerve, it is A DENTIST (All the dentists out here please forgive me). Yeah you heard it right. From sometime back I wanted to taste a pukka Karnataka meal from a home rather than form a hotel, Since it’s difficult to find a hotel which provides you with the real authentic food of a region. So I was 100% ready to join the trip arranged from office to visit a village in Tumkur. The trip was planned for 19th Sept since we had a long weekend.
