Welcome to my space!

Join me in my maiden journey as a blogger (rather a rambler) and hope you all enjoy the trip along with me. As a novice, I am trying not to reflect any styles but accept my apologies if I do so inadvertently, dear friends. My sincere and heartfelt thanks to the Expert bloggers who provide great inspiration.

Thanks to Wiki for providing me with the apt title..Reminiscence Bump!

Come along....!

I am not a woman if I do not talk about tummy tucks, trimmy B...s and juicy gossips.

Did not give much thought about weight as I was an underweight until my delivery, and then I reached my ideal weight. I would polish of ghee sweets and cakes/desserts, gobble up Burgers and fries and complete the goodies with gallons of coffee concentrated with kilos of creamer and sugar without a second thought.

But...hitting the magic number 30, fate started laughing at me. Metabolism tickled to stand still and needle in the weighing machine tipped in the opposite side. (If it had happened 20 years back, how much joy that would have brought to my worried parents who struggled throughout my childhood to improve my weight) Couple of surgeries and antibiotics also did their precise contribution of adding up the kilos(I dont count it in pounds) The worst(best) part is the delicious food that my Mom and MIL heaps on my plate and their laments about my eating habit (korikkirathu) during our trips to home. Yummy... yum! but Tummy.... Hmmmm!

And now came my turn to turn my eyes towards the uphill task of exercising, unheard word of dieting, to get rid of the unsightly BBs, TTs, FAs (sorry for the sms form. I leave it to your imagination to interpret.)

I am always amazed to see ladies with trimmed arms. It shows they are working out their entire body. Some keep the body trim and firm but their arms are unsightly and especially if they wear sleeveless....oh my Gosh!

Some celebrities I admire are: (not in order)
1. Shoba De (62):
Bold writer and a revolutionist in Indian English fiction while some think that she is writing too much (or rather too hot) I love the way she carries herself in sarees and all with sleeveless blouses.(She introduced her Designer Sarees Range-CockTail in a Boutique in Singapore last year)

2. Suhaasini Maniratnam (47)
Actress and wife of director Maniratnam. I like the armlets she wear. Wonderful collection.

3. Rekha(54)
Daughter of the legend Gemini Ganesan and a well know actress. Personally not my favourite, but admired and vouched for her fitness by an insider.

4. Poh Choo( 50)
She is my friend, philosopher and guide and a very dear friend in Singapore. Her dieting and exercising habits are amazing.

These four come to my mind at this moment. Please share your favourite trim persons . Would love to hear them all.

Would like to end this post with my actual story of exercising. I don't want to explain.See for yourself in the attachment.

May me we can pray the same way you did.

    Bye
Happy to know that you enjoyed it. And yes I have read the thread you have mentioned. If it happens then all the ladies would have to cluster together , that is the thinner one with the fat one .
