| Dear IL Bloggers, Having been constantly thinking how to get more focus towards the blogs section, here are two more ideas that we got. Hope you all will like it and will get started on it immediately. #1 This forum is basically to get some attention to the Blog section. We've opened up access for bloggers to "post reply" in this thread - Meet the Bloggers in IL. Please post a single message that will include the following: 1. A brief introduction about yourself as a blogger - why you want to blog, what motivated you to blog, etc. 2. What are you blogging about (or) going to blog about (some of you might be blogging on various topics in general, that's fine, mention it in an attractive way that your blogs are your random thoughts). 3. Add a link there to your blog page asking members to visit your blogs and comment on them. #2 We've also opened up access for you to open a single 'New Thread' dedicated to your blogs in the above sub-forum. 1. Give your blog title itself as the thread title. 2. Start making individual posts within the thread about each blog entry that you made. It should be a brief introduction or a gist about your entry, making the reader curious to read the entire blog entry. Add a link to there to that particular blog entry. 3. Keep updating the same thread with new posts as and when you make new blog entries in your blog space. Note: You will make only a single post (using Post Reply button) within the "Meet Bloggers in IL thread". You will start only a single thread (using New Thread button) for your entire blogspace. Keep updating it with gist about your latest blog entries. Any other posts apart from those listed above are subjected to be moderated. Since the idea behind this forum is to get focus to blogs, let's keep it simple and neat!

| Dear Bloggers, Regarding the opening of one dedicated thread in "Blogs in IndusLadies" forum, with the same title as your blogpsace, you can do it like what Vandhana has done here - Potpourri of Blogs : Vandhana. Open a thread about your blogspace and post one single message with a gist and links to your individual existing blog entries. But keep updating within that thread new posts about the blog entries you make in future. That way your blog thread will keep moving to the top of the forum. Or, you can also keep posting within that thread one individual message for each of your blog entry, giving a gist and link to it. The idea is to keep updating your dedicated blog thread with posts about your latest entries, so that they show up in 'Today's posts' or 'New Posts', when a member logs in and checks. Our members seem to use these menu options frequently to know the latest in the forums. That way we can get their attention to your latest blogs too.
