Dear ILs,

I have joined IL four days back...i wish to write a blog after seeing all of your participation.. first i feel shy to do...but with a little comfort i started my journey thinking all ILs should help me to improve my level...

‘What makes you write, Varalotti?’ No one has ever been tired of asking this hackneyed question. But it is is wrong. Fundamentally wrong You can better ask, ‘What makes you breathe, Varalotti?’

Of course writing does not make me a better person. If you have any doubts about that the best source to clear them is my beautiful wife and wonderful daughter. ‘Writing has only added to your vanity which was already sky-high’

Vanity or sanity, writing is a part of reality for me.

‘You have so many exclusive forums for you. Why should you then invade the blogosphere?’ Good question.

Till now I have not felt the need. But as I was doing my research for Oh My God series I gathered many interesting, valuable information, intuition and insights which I want to record somewhere.

First I tried it as epilogues to OMG episodes. But that only made the episodes longer and the ladies more impatient.

Blogspace is quite ideal for it. Here I will be uncharacteristically short. (I would love to say short and sweet, but the second adjective should come from my readers)

And what I am going to write about? Everything under the sun. From God to the Devil. Of good, bad and ugly. Of beauty, valour and chastity. Of snowflakes, raindrops and tsunamis. About economy, politics, relationships and Greek mythology. About my stories, books, publishers and fans.

At what frequency? Anything from four times in a month to three times in a week.

And your duty: to comment, to tear me apart, to tell me on my face that my writings are lousy and if at times, once in a blue moon, they are good enough, tell me so, so that I can celebrate my Diwali.

My dear friends

This is such a wonderful way to introduce bloggers in IL.
I have not blogged before in my life. But seeing such
wonderful writeups here and reading them, I wanted to
try out as well.

I have just started up with a couple.
Would love it if you could spend some time to read them
through and leave a comment for me in the form of ideas,
suggestions to improve, encouragement etc etc etc.
