Dear Friends,

I cannot have more happiness than having wonderful wish from each of you for my b'day. Every wish that came in for me, mattered a lot and made a big difference to me ! I am thankful to all of you for giving me so much happiness on my b'day. This year b'day has become truely memorable for me and I will cherish this wonderful feeling forever in my life !

I wanted to ensure I thank every one of you personally for your loveable wishes. If I had missed any one of you (who wished me) please have in mind, it might be ONLY due to oversight and I apologise for that ! Pls don't feel bad and mistake me ! I have taken utmost care in noting down each one of your names to ensure that I didn't miss out any of you in my thankful reply.

Now coming to my b'day update...

This year b'day was bindas for me and I wont forget it for my lifetime...The celebration started right from 14th onwards and from within IL, where I started getting wishes from you all...After reaching home, I was into my usual cooking routine and waiting for hubby to return. Hubby was late that day, so on his way home called me little before 9:30 (12:00 IST) and wished me first (didn't want to let others wish me first, but I told him after he came home that IL members were first to wish me!! ).

Prem came home with a lovely BIG birthday cake with "Happy Birthday Preethu" wordings on it and wished me happy b'day..Then started the countdown of Surprises ! First, from the bedroom he came out with 3 BIG lovely greeting cards (it was hidden somewhere) - 2 cards were beautiful b'day wishes and one was belated anniversary wishes (we completed our 2nd anniv last week) , hubby excuse was that he didn't have time to get me a card on our anniv, so asked me to treat all the 3 cards as wishes for both this year and next year b'day/anniv (Underlying message was - Don't expect cards from me for next year ! ). The second surprise came in when I entered the other room and saw a BIG Bunny Bear sitting on the sofa (this too was hidden) , I am so fond of bunnies and seeing such a big one sitting right in front of me, I was literally screaming out of excitement ! The third surprise was a Camcorder as a gift. The surprise didn't end there. Finally, he handed over a key to me saying that's the key of our new car. Seeing one after the other surprises coming in, I was dumb-found and literally on cloud 9..It took me almost almost 2 hours to come back to earth ! By the time, I was totally drained out of sheer excitement, we finished dinner and slept..Next day morning I got up hearing his B'day song for me ! subsequently wishes started pouring in from family and friends, we started the celebration with the cake cutting. (sad part, hubby kept ** of candles on the cake to remind me, my age !!). We had lavish lunch outside (I made just payasam at home! ) and evening we both went for the closing ceremony of the asian games..I had a wonderful time at the stadium and most part of the evening and night was spent there. We reached home little before 12 midnite. ! Before the clock struck 12, he sang the b'day song again. Thus the B'day started and ended with the B'day Song..

That was the end of my wonderful b'day celebrations !

Hey Preethi.....That is a nice husband to have!! Keys to a new car...oh my:) What next? I am happy to know that you had such a great day and your loving hubby has left no stone unturned to make it memorable for you. God Bless you both.
