Happy Birthday Anushiv, Sreechandra and Oviya..

Dear friends,

As some of the friends asked I'm duty bound to share my birthday celebrations with you.

I usually don't celebrate anything on any particular day for which getting scolds from my mom. But, I would celebrate any day as per my wish. My dad and DH are of the same natured. They know that I don't demand anything unnecessarily. So, whatever I wished, have been granted. My dad told me one fine day(don't remember how old was I then), 'Kannu, I believe, from now on you can handle money on your own. Take whenever you want. Please just write down in the account book, the reason it was spent for'. Thanking him now, once again. My DH got me cards. So, whatever I spend comes in accounts and he didn't have to tell me to write it down. I bought a beautiful winter coat, an expensive one but got it in sale as this is off-season, a trutle necked T-shirt, white one with triple sky blue horizontal stripes and a pink sleepwear, needless to say, I tried on a different day ..

My star birthday fell on the 1st of May. As my mom insisted on cooking something special, I prepared sweet pongal. We went to an Indian restaurant which I haven't tried yet for buffet, last Sunday, coincidentally. Had a delicious meal comprising of a good menu.

As my son was down with fever, he didn't feel like eating anything on the 8th. A half shortcake, 4 mouthfuls each of dhal rice and rasam rice where his diet on that day. So, I didn't feel like cooking anything special. I took care of him the whole day. Two of my friends presented me with some kitchen gadgets.

Though that was not any special cooking day, it was very special in a way as my son kept remembering it for a longtime with countdowns and wished me the very first time on his own. He wished in the previous years when he was reminded.

It was special indeed for another reason. All of you who have never seen me showered me with your wishes.

Dear Aruna, Sriniketan, Lakshmi, Slp807, Paulina, Oviya, Ramya & Avita.

I am Sorry for replaying you all in late. Thank you all for the kind wishes. The day of mine went off smoothly. The day being Akshaya thirithi, First My parents called up wished me & my mom advised me to buy something in Gold (Eventhough I don’t have much fascination for gold ornaments but she insisted me to buy something...since I’ve a daughter ) My 6yrs. old son gave me a beautiful card. He had drawn some flowers & along with it all his favourite ‘super heroes’ Ben ten, Spiderman & Super man were all hanging out in different forms.Seeing that my 3yrs old daughter wanted to make a card, she went in brought down all the papers, colour pencils, crayons…drew circles & coloured it pink gave to me saying that Amma I’m giving you strawberry cake gift . I was pleased & touched by her undemanding Luv & affection, which in fact helped me to clear- up the mess cheerfully. And Later in the evening went to the near by temple & did archanai. For the dinner, we went out to Pizza Hut to have Pizzas. The kids had fun & seeing their happy faces…My B’day ended happily!
