Dear Chithra,
It's my privilege that a thread in my honour has been started by the most sought after women in IL and more than that, a Maduraiite and a person from my Alma Mater.
Well, I would love to be 28 for ever. But from tomorrow onwards I have decided to tell the truth. So today I will be 28 and if any one asks my age tomorrow, I will lift my heart in pride and say "50 full years". Call it the ageing process or the maturity process or late realisation or whatever it is.
As I wrote in a thread elsewhere today, writing responses to fb is as precious as writing the leader post. Writing a leader post is like reading out a prepared speech. Writing responses to fb is like making an ex-tempore speech. As a man who has put in donkeys years in public speaking and another donkey's years in training the people how to speak in public, I know how difficult is the latter compared to the former.

You are right. But nothing is time consuming when you yourself are consumed by love. Have you seen lovers waiting for their beloved? People will wait for hours on end just like that. The time I spend in writing fbs is as sweet as that.

Thanks. I feel immensely blessed.
This is the third b'day I am celebrating with this vibrant, loving and friendly community. Not many people have the privilege of celebrating their birthday the way I do. Being greeted by some 20000 beautiful women the world over! I feel humbled and elated at the same time.
This time I am planning to give a return gift to all the ILites - for those who greeted me and for those who didn't. ILites, keep guessing. I could have given the gift today. But my daughter fought with me to delay it till 1st May. You'll know the reason when you tear open the gift wrappers. Till then... keep your fingers crossed, and keep guessing.

Caramel Semiya payasam - and that too only virtually.. no no .. I won't allow that. When we come to Chennai next time, promise me that the yummy payasam will be served.. I might consider making a trip to Chennai exclusively for that. Don't tell me I didn't warn you.
love,
