Re: Usha Stitch Magic - Sewing machine
Dear Rajinikasturi,
Was doing some search on Usha Stitch Magic and came across your review and just registered myself on this site.
I plan to buy Stitch Magic (I compared the features / stitch) between Allure, Fashion Stitch and Stitch Magic and have decided on Stitch Magic.
Request if you could let me know which stitch do you use to do interlocking on clothes (over-cast OR over-edge)
Thanks

I finally purchased Usha Stitch Magic a couple of weeks back.
Now I am trying all new stitches on my towels and kitchen napkins
Must say it is really sleek smooth, easy to operate
And worth an investment for people who are passionate about Stitching
The best part I liked is the interlocking stitch, where earlier I had to depend on tailors and was quite expensive too....
Any one who want to invest can blindly go and buy...

Re: Usha Stitch Magic - Sewing machine
I bought Usha stitch magic just day before y'day. It costed 11,000/-.Initially, I was also in a dilimma which one to buy. when me and my husband went to the dealer, we found that we are not going to change a sewing machine every alternate year. Therefore, we decided to go for stitch magic.
Sewing & designing is my passion but i am not professional. Just y'day, after office I opened the manual and explored my machine myself. I loved it.There are so many things you can do with it.

They were also having exchange offer. It is really easy to use it and having almost all functionality like button hole stiching, buttons stiching, interlocking, pico, patchwork stiches, hemming stich etc. Usha stich magic was double the price, so went for this one. Number of embroidery stiches was more in Stich magic, but all other functionality were similar.
hi even im planning to buy usha allure..can u tell me hw it is ? like better than singer 8280 ..also the price im told is Rs.7000(without exchange). Should i go for it?

Re: Usha Stitch Magic - Sewing machine
Seems most of the votes are going to Stitch Magic. The current price of the machine is 14500/- I find the price is bit too high for the machine (but I hope that the features of the machine would make up for the price)
I am also planning to buy one and gift it to my mom. Hope she likes it as she is an expert when it comes to stitching. Please share few remarks - good/bad of the machine so that other buyers get some useful inputs before purchase.
Thank you!
