Hello to all the Ladies in Bangalore, (as well as others of IL too)

I am Padma (Srinivas), a new entrant to IL from Jayanagar 4 T Block. Lovely to read all your messages, I feel so raw and quite inexperienced as a first-timer to any forum. There are so many possibilities offered by IndusLadies, I am overwhelmed and do not know where to start and may need all the help in finding my way! I came across IL while looking for Sanskrit shlokas in general and some on BalaTripurasundari in particular, I found Chitvish's threads very helpful. One thing led to another and I plunged in to register myself. At home we are Devi bhakthas and chant Lalitha Sahasranamam regularly. Looking forward to hearing from you all

Padma

Hi Kalyani,

Hope you are having a great Diwali. This time we celebrated at my BIL's place. So all in all entire family of inlaws got together...had a blast. Purchases this time its only crackers and dresses for my daughter. Shopping in Gandhi bazaar during festivals is very difficult. All the shops are crowded...to buy a small thing, it takes time and the prices...!!!
love,
Hema

Hi hema,

So, that is great, that you had very good time. Gandhi Bazar is costly - exorbitant prices. Earlier we used to buy few in GB, but now we have left.
ukaram, and Vittal dresses, you will have varieties but the cost is too high.

Enjoy well
Kalyani

Thumbs up Re: Bangalore Ladies - Introduce yourselves here!

Namaskaara,

i'm typically bangaloren, but now i'm residing in abroad .sometimes i miss my bangalore very much . especially gandhi bazzar's ice thunder , jaynagar's pani puri , vidhyarthi bhavan dose ,nandhini delux variety lunch my list goes on . whenever i visit bangalore i feel like i'm back to my mom's place though both in-laws and parents are residing in b'lore. i make it a point to visit all these places and watch few kannada movies ,shop in alankar plaza and chickpet .
Even in bahrain there are lot of kanndigas ,kannada resturants ,kannada sangha, ........that we never tend to forget our kannada .
