Hi Everyone,

Welcome to this thread on Thewa Jewellery……I’m Sonalika and I’ve been a member of this forum for quite some time now.
A few months back I started a small home business in Thewa Jewellery and shortly afterwards, I chanced upon this site.
The pleasant and friendly ambience of this site has made me come back to it again and again….and I’m glad to get this opportunity to introduce an Exquisite Jewellery Collection to all the wonderful ladies of this forum......


The jewellery I’m talking about is from Rajasthan and is called Thewa.

Truly symbolic of the Royal heritage of the state of Rajasthan, Thewa is made from a unique combination of coloured glass and Gold.
Rich colours and intricate designs form an integral part of this artistic Jewellery.

About Thewa Jewellery
Thewa is a 400 year old art of jewellery making which is being revived and in much vogue now.

This craft is practiced by a few craftsmen from the small town of Pratapgarh in Rajasthan, who specialize in the art of fusing filigreed gold sheets on to glass.

The base of Thewa is a plaque of coloured glass which is heat processed to get a glittering effect. Intricate filigree work is done on a pure gold sheet and fused onto this glass piece. The glass provides a background to highlight the detailing of the gold work. It is then framed and set in a string of matching or contrasting beads.

Each piece is Handcrafted and Exclusive.

As Thewa is available in a variety of colours, it can be matched with various outfits and its elegant design makes it suitable for formal as well as informal occasions.

The main pattern being in gold, Thewa makes for a good gift for Marriages, Wedding Anniversaries and Festivals like Diwali, Dusshera, Rakshabandhan, Karva Chauth etc.

THEWA JEWELLERY : Purchase & Shipping Info

Hi Everyone,

For purchasing Thewa Jewellery, I usually ask my customers to come over and have a look at the actual pieces of jewellery so that they can be completely satisfied with their purchase.

However, if you want to order by choosing through the pictures, at present it can be delivered in Bangalore and New Delhi.(with an additional shipping cost)
Other Indian cities would be added to the shipping list soon.

Overseas delivery would not be possible.

Unfortunately, overseas delivery is not possible. If you have a friend/relative in Bangalore, you can ask them to have a look at the jewellery or take the delivery for you.
Or, if you would like to gift it to somebody in Bangalore/NewDelhi , it can be shipped to them.
