I've posted messages about ordering & price, please have a look at them. As you are in Hyderabad, the jewellery will have to be shipped to you. I'll try to work it out and let you know. Alternatively, if you have friends/relatives in Bangalore, they can either have a look at the actual pieces or take the delivery for you. If you have questions regarding a particular set, mail me so that I can send you the details. Cheers, Sonalika Email: giftingmatters@gmail.com Last edited by essvee : 11th April 2008 at 06:26 AM. |

I procure ready to wear Thewa sets for selling. Making of Thewa Jewellery is a very complex process & requires a high degree of skill and finesse. This art of jewellery making has been in existence from the times of Moghuls and has been handed down over generations. Even today, there are only a handful of craftsmen in India who can actually make genuine Thewa (lots of imitation stuff available in the market and sold as Thewa ). The pendants and earrings are procured directly from the craftsmen. Beads/stones/pearls are then selected and the stringing is done before the set is ready to wear. I'll be writing more about Thewa, including how to recognize fake Thewa .Stay tuned ! And in case you have more questions, do write in. Cheers, Sonalika Last edited by essvee : 11th April 2008 at 02:10 PM. |
