Please advise

Hi everybody
My son is 1 years and 10 months old and i have recently shifted t Blore from Chennai and iam quite confused with the admission process
here.Iam put up in Marathalli area opposite to Rohan Vasantha Apartment.I need some clarification on following points.
1) I have zeroed down few schools based on their feedbacks and affordability.DPS (Sarjarpura),NPS (Sarjarpura),Gopalan International
and Vagdevi
2)I heard that they start the admission procedure as ealrly as Aug-Sep..So should we start with the application buying process from August
onwards?
3)Do they have an interview with the child..My little one has not yet started talking ..he generally blabbers..So Im really worried abt this
interview thing..when do they conduct this interview procedure..is it in Aug or Sep itself or later..Is there any curriculum particularly..
that they follow for this interview?
At present Im planning to put him in a good playschool when he turns 2.
I hope he gains interest seeing other kids talk.
Can u pls suggest me some good play schools as well around this area...

Even i stay in marathahalli.Your son is too young for you to worry abt school admission. .I am also staying near the place u mentioned. Not sure u can PM me. it is actually true that most of the schools start issuing the form-oct-nov for all classes and finish it by dec. but i think there would be some spare seats they must be keeping reserved.
infact i bgt application form for nursery in vagdevi they take kids for nursery at 2.5 years, i was concerned abt the disctance actually around 3 kms he has to travel by van.. u know the traffic in m'halli roads.. then i decided to put him in a near by playschool at 20 months at playgroup and he will continue his nursery there only and i will take admission for LKG in formal schools like vagdevi/vigbyor/gopalan not yet decided which one next 2010 jun.DPS does not take kids at lkg at 3.5 years so not very keen also look out for the age criteria for admissions

forgot to mention My son goes to "hello kids". it is near bageecha restaurant. opp to Rohan vasantha as it is close to my house i drop him by walk and my maid picks him up. Infact my son was also not speak till 18 months as i am working ..we really could not spend much time with him..but after enrolling him in playschool i could see a vast difference in vocabulary. Now at 27 months he can speak proper gramatical sentence ofcourse in my mother tongue only . i will strongly recommend u admit him in playschool. i am also from chennai moved to bangalore 6 yrs back.

If you are ok with your kid travelling in school vans at this age..there are kidzee, apple kids, poddar and eurokids near brookefields and aecs layout. some how i did not want him to go in the school transport . ihave seen so many of these school vans travellling in the opp.direction disregarding traffic rules and signal. Out of sheer concern i did call up that famous play school to inform the driver's negligence still i see the school driver ..doing the samething..Rant
