Sounds interesting. Ambica Depot in Adyar, is that the one?
I tried Sathumaavu kanji without milk, Ramya. K ran into the next room. I used the rest of the sathumaavu to bake LOL. I will get some fresh to try with salt.

My 9 month old takes banana powder called baby-vita. Check out babyvitaindia.com for nutritional information. It is available easily in kerala and few stores elsewhere.

Hi Latha,

My daughter was born with quite a few allergies, so I had to watch whatever I fed her. I also had to try different sources of calcium & protein too. And Thank God for she did not fuss much about any food item.
She is 7 yrs. old today -- exactly !! Today is her 7th. Birthday !!

Krithika, i guess you get it in all the Ambika depots including the one in Adyar. And am surprised that K does not like Sathu mavu. That actually tastes better with cardamom and almonds.

Ramya... even my daughter dont like sathumavu... she will run and vommit also... atlast she likes this ragi that too without milk and only with salt...

My wishes to your girl on her birthday. Wishing her all the world's happiness, good health and happy times... What is her name? I must say you are lucky to have a non-fussy eater. My boy will remain hungry rather than eat vegetables. But I'm hoping this will change soon.
