| Sorry Latha, I am not really qualified to answer your question. If you are concerned, try to give him another alternate fruit he likes. Welcome Lalitha! Good to know that you like the thread. Wow, you have so many choices for your kid. I try to keep a couple options too. This is what I will be feeding my kid today Breakfast: Cereal and milk Lunch: Rasam rice and potato kari Dinner: Chapatti, sabji is undecided as of now and curd rice. -Gayathri. |

| Hi Shobana, My kid is 19 months old. I give frozen petite peas to her. I fry in a pan and add salt and coconut (shredded) and make it sundal. She likes peas. I make curry with frozen suran. These are the frozen food that I give. Other ILs may enlighten us with their ideas.

| Hi Shobana, may be i'm not the best person to give any advice on this topic... i never gave any frozen food to my boy (he's 3) and even now i don't! basically because i don't buy frozen food for ourselves. but i assume (and after reading through couple of google searches) if your boy is already used to eating normal adult food (by this i mean chunks, normal spiceness, salt etc.,) you can safely try frozen nuggets for example. i don't know if you're vegetarian or otherwise. but i would recommend organic food (Yes i'm a big fan!) and look out for less sugar, additive-free etc., btw i must admit that i once gave him frozen parathas (that we took along for a trip) and it didn't suit my boy. but i've made aloo parathas, fruit pureed and made like popsicles and frozen them myself and given them to him n they have worked well. i think the basic idea is not to give something loaded with artificial flavouring, preservatives and esp msg (i understand it makes kids a bit hyper...). if you do try anything with success please share it with us:) |
