    Hi cheer,
hope this thread is not any repetiton. but does a 1 year old need to be on milk diet as ur daughter's case? I personally felt that insufficient. Reducing her milk intake might help I guess. Let other moms pour in their thoughts.

Regarding my 16month old boys diet:

    6am-milk
    8am- Breakfast - idli/dosa/upma
10:30am - apple/apple juice (no other fruit suits his allergy)
    12:30- Lunch- rice,dal,vegs/egg yolk/fish
    2pm- milk and then sleep
    5pm- oatmeal/pasta/noodles
    7pm- biscut/rusk/bread wth date syrup + milk
    9pm- Dinner - rice / chapathi with veg/nonveg
10pm- bed time-after some milk if necessary or els only BF

Dear reshmi & sunitha thanx a lot for sharing diet plan. I have to cut down her milk intakes & more solids. Thing is she is very picky doesn't like everything but will try.

Ladies do share ur toddler diet schedule here.

Cheer, don't lose heart, just keep trying. My eldest was and is like that even now.He will survive on milk alone,if possible! I've noticed that children who consume more milk, don't eat much and vice versa. It's ok,you do your part and leave the rest, slowly, she will start eating other things.

    Hi,

This is Vandana's menu (16 months & 3 weeks old)

    9 am - oats/upma/dosa/idli/ragi kanji/vermicilli
10.30 am - fruit juice (about 60 ml only) (she still doesnt eat fruits other than banana , so i squash almost any fruit and dilute it a bit) or sometimes mix fruit juice with curd and give it to her
    11.45 am - Pediasure ( 100 -120 ml only)
2 pm - bit of rice (sambhar/curry) & curd rice
5 pm - glucose/milk/ biscuit (1 or 2) or 1/2 wheetabix with milk / small piece of cheese
    6.30 pm - Novalac ( 100 -120 ml only)
    8.30 - bit of rice (sambhar/curry) & curd rice

She is BF once in the morning when she sleeps & in the night before she sleeps. She gets up 1-2 times in b/w for BF during the night.

I wish i could make her drink more fruit/fruit juices.

    Revathi
