Laxmi we used to add salt instead of sugar... prev we will give using paladai... now she dont like if i force she will have it have it by herself...
my son is 15 months and he got loose motion.he was passing loose stool for 5 days frequency 2-3 times a day. but the stool was really bad so went to see his ped and he was precribed nor-metrogyl for 5 days and entrogermina amp for 2 days.
now his stool is formed but still mucus is there.
i want to know is nor-metrogyl is safe for kids and any diet remedy for diarrhea?
If the baby is passing out loose motions then i think giving apple juice with milk cures.
Sometimes baby who is suffering from Diarrhea also vomits. This makes them very weak and tired. In this case they should be replenished with the fluids lost. You can give diluted milk, thin rice kanji, glucose water, lime juice, diluted butter milk, thin lentil soup etc., (as much as the baby is willing to drink). Pls try to avoid giving fried stuffs, cold food, fruits and veggies which have seeds.
The solution of salt & sugar should be prepared from time to time. Dont use the prepared solution if it is more than 6-7 hrs old
I strongly suggest that u see a Doc in case of mucus / bloddy discharge in the stools.
Hi all, Riya is suffering from diarrhea since Friday night. She had a couple episodes on Friday, twice on Saturday and then this morning, she had looseys again, and then vomitting for the first time. We gave her Pedialyte, giving her a lot of yogurt, and I am making rice kanji (porridge) for lunch.
Today is sunday, so can't take her to the doc (unless things go really bad and then we head for the emergency, but I am praying that doesn't happen).
She doesn't have any fever. If things don't get better in the next 24 hours, I am taking her to the doctor, but wondering if there's anything else that we should be doing until then?

Oh is it a vomitting/diarrhorea season? My son too had loose stools and had been vomitting for few days.. What is the reason? Sometimes i know i gave something new that dont suit him, so just avoid it, but yesterday nothing new, but still he vomitted!
I want to know it suits for 10 month baby having diarrhea only.
.... give some idea.... can i add sugar with that .
