My 17months kiddo not drinking milk..help me pls

    My 17 months kiddo has stopped drinking milk for past 4 days.i used to give him aavin milk in the morning and before the bed time.i bfeed him only twice a day . Now Whenever i show his feeding cup he is running away from me and he wants me to bfeed him. He takes solids, drinks water without any fuss except milk .he takes his dinner at 7.30pm and milk at 10.30pm. Please suggest me an alternative for his bedtime milk. Can i give him nestum mixed with milk ? Thanks.

    Is there a change in the brand or the thickness of the milk or the taste? Maybe his milk was little too hot the last time he had?

    Thanks for replying . I used the same brand and his milk was warm. I really don't know what to do . Pls suggest me any alternative for this .

    There is no need to drink milk at that age. Some kids also prefer the milk cold. You can give other dairy products like curd and paneer.

    Hi OP

    Kids at times do not drink or eat. I know it is very stressful for us mothers. I stay upset whole day if my Lo refuses milk or food. Their tastes change everyday.
    For how long its been happening? check for teeth coming, or molars or sore mouth.
    Keep calcium levels up with curd 7 other alternatives.

    Don't worry much about his milk intake. Just offer him if he rejects replace it with yogurt or cheese. Don't stress much about it.
    It took my Lo 6 months to start drinking milk after he stopped BF.
