height problem

    hi all

    My baby girl is one year now,, its seems she doesnt hve good height growth and i m worried for her.. as my hubby has good height and i m just 5'.. as wht i face the problem with height as i dont want to happen with my baby plz share your thoughts wht to do now.. any message or excersice or food can help to increse height.. as i do hve thyroid prob, now its in control does it effect anything to my baby?

    plz ans i m realy worried for my baby

    If the baby is eating normally there is nothing you can do to increase the height growth. The child inherits the "height genes" from their parents and it may be that she has inherited it from your side. There are some very rare medical conditions that can cause slow height growth but those are diagnosed and treated later.

    Has the doctor told you that she is not growing height wise enough?

    well my dr told me that she comes under 20 percentile so thts worry me.. other wise she told tht it comes to parents genes...
