Health issues for my daughter

    Hi,

    my daughter is 2.6 years old and she joined prekg in school. for the past one month she is suffereing from cold an cough and sometimes fever. Till now its not reduced.

    is it normal.. Doctor saying immunity to be developed. pls let me know.

    is she continuesly having fever??? generally when kids first start daycare or school they do fall sick....and slowly they develop immunity.

    no she is not having fever continously. 2 weeks once she is slightly getting fever

    I wouldn't worry about it....my daughter when started daycare was countinuously falling sick for couple of months...we had to visit doctor at least twice in a month for couple of monh and every time there use to different viral or bacterial infections...

    her doctor said that's how kids develop immunity... now my daughter is much better...so yeah don't worry too much about it. she will be fine in few months.

    yeah that's true. Also weather is not much favorable in India.

    I'll suggest you to check with your Dr on Flu shot (vaccination), it helps a lot to on flu and cold , specially kids who goes to school/daycare.

    Exactly! Anyway kids catch cold and have cough frequently in the early years. Nothing to worry about - just make sure u keep track of her illnesses.
