    1. Cheese

    2. Yogurt

    3. Milk

    4. Sardines

    5. Dark leafy greens like spinach, kale, turnips, and collard greens

    6. Fortified cereals such as Total, Raisin Bran, Corn Flakes (They have a lot of calcium in one serving.)

    7. Fortified orange juice

    8. Soybeans

    9. Fortified soymilk (Not all soymilk is a good source of calcium, so it's best to check the label.)

    10. Enriched breads, grains, and waffles

My dd is allergic to dairy. Here are some items that my nutritionist told me:

Soy milk: check if 'calcium fortified' is mentioned in the package.
Orange juice: only if it 'calcium fortified' is mentioned otherwise it is not very significant
Broccoli, Peas, Kale, bok choy, ladies finger Spinach- spinach contain oxalate which reduces the absorption of calcium
    Almonds
Tofu only if made with calcium sulphate
    Blackstrap molasses (karuppati)

    Hi
Too much of any one particular veggie/food item causes health problems... So ask her to follow doctors advise and give balanced food to the kid

The kid is lactose inolerant. So he cannot have milk/yogurt based calcium food stuff obviously.

hii.. irrespective of age RAAGI (Millet) is good for health and highly rich in calcium and also Iron and Protein. The cereal is easily digested. Give your son raagi kanchi- Boil water, add a spoon of ragi flour into boiling water, add a little salt and let it be in semi solid state , allow it to cool.
