Default Worried abt my kids' breakfast? Any suggestion frnds...?

Hi ILites,

My son is 4 yr old going to preschool 3 days a week. Those days mornings are hard for me. He doesn't want anything for breakfast.

I used to give him cereal, bread n cheese, bread n jam, sometimes idli. But he don't feel like eating in that early hrs at 8 am...since he's not used to eat at that time..

What can i do to make his breakfast done? I appreciate ur ideas.

Thanks,
Pinky.

The issue with my kids were if they woke up late like say around 7.45 A.M. and when I get them ready and ask them to eat by 8,they will make a fuss.

If they are up early say 7.15 or 7.25, they have time to settle down, run around and then feel like eating around 8 when they are ready!

Hope this helps.

Hi pinky,

It is a problem with all kids. so this is how you can solve. even on holidays wake him up at 7.00 so that he gets used to the idea of eating at 8.00
so slowly his body will get used to eating breakfast at 8.00..there is no shortcut to it.

My children are bigger that is 12 and 9. they have all cereal porridge, bread sandwiches, noodles, rotis, parathas ....whatever is available on that day since i have to pack their lunches along with the snack box....
